Good game, excellent graphics ... but the new (post update) stamina costs are ridiculous. For example, 12-15 stamina to simply farm decent Runes is crazy. They are trying too hard to force players to spend real money. Greedy!!!

Game is worth it. It might not be your cup of tea, but its a fun game that you can kill 20-30 min on then let your stamina reload. The last big update was worthless!!!! But if your a new player you wont have the old version to compare to, so no biggie.

After the update the game freezes on the welcome screen with the fountain, the hero is not coming. The above issue was solved by deleting and downloading the game from scratch. With the April 20th major update I have mixed feelings. Obviously it made the paying bias much stronger, on the other hand there are good things for freeloaders such as myself. For example the 15 quick battles. Still worth playing but I can see why people may want to quit. I am playing it every day, nuff said. Kraxxus

This game is a bunch of fun. There are a variety of interlocking quest areas that keep things interesting.

Ive played a lot of similar games. Usually I get bored after a week or two. But this game has kept my interest for well over 3 months. Games and challenges all combine to a very enjoyable time.

Last update unbalanced the game. Good news: game is more fun because you finally get Quick Battle enough per day, the Stamina bar is bigger and you get the Stamina points faster. Now there are new kinf of guardians - Elemental Guardians - to make easier to level up Guardians. Its excellent for new players or casual players and its not bad for old hard players. Bad news: Some dungeons are 2x more expensive and there are no more free full recharge of Stamina (players used to get 2 per day and used to buy one more using free coins), Stage Rewards are worse: you get less guardian points, avatar points and even gold per attack. As result, its slower (and expensive) to level up your avatar and your runes just playing stages. You need a lot of gold and points to do that. Avatar level up and rune level up are more import then level up a lot of guardians because you can use only 3 guardian per time, but levels bonus in battle are very high. A lot of 60 level players have been giving up of game because 60 level is top level. If you cant level up your avatar, you cant defeat harder stages or dungeons. So you get stuck in same point in game. First step to get boring and give up. Now, after update, even no 60 level players are upset. Old players of any level are feeling the same. For players level 57 like me, who have a enough high level guardians and need level up avatar, need powerful runes for guardians, use a lot of gold to do that, game will be very boring. A lot of friends of mine are giving up too. Most important suggestions: -Bringing back Gourmet Roast Turkey (free full recharge). - Reducing back the cost of Stamina in Stages, Rune Dungeons - Increasing back rewards of everything - Bringing back old Special Offers And some extra ideas: - Reducing avatar level bonus and level up guardian level up bonus - Allowing more than 3 guardians per time. At least in special events or new ways of play. (There is no point in to get so much guardians if you cant use it. - Doing a better chat system. We barely use it now. - Creating stages exclusive for guilds with special rewards like exclusive gaurdians. - Creating a system of levels for guilds with good bonus (not like actual guild buffs) - Giving better rewards for top players - Getting better prizes for players who expend money in game. - Create weekly events with new challenges to win extra rewards. I could put a lot of other new ideas here, but these will be enough for start. Now game is good only for casual free players. But only casual free players are not enough to do a sucessful game.

last update remove ability to earn ruby for F2P player now it harder to earn them and they have nerf the guardian XP from normal quest. this game used to be fair now it one of those pay to win game type

Guardian stone is a great game! I am a dad that doesnt have a lot of time to game but when I have a few minutes I like to play Guardian Stone. The game has a lot of options to play and explore. I also like the different characters that you can play. It reminds me a lot of Dungeons and Dragons which I played as a kid. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it has the tendency to just kick you out of the game which can be frustrating. Hopefully they will get it fixed in one of the next updates.

This game is pretty fun to play. Great graphics and amazing battle scenes. In game purchases level you up faster but you dont have to spend a dime if you dont want to. However since the last update the people who dont want to spend money are at a serious disadvantage!

Ive been playing for a couple of months now and find it is ALL I play anymore. But, the upgrade last month was really a pain and when I contacted Tech Support for help they NEVER answered me. Could only play on my phone for longest time. My iPad would only reload entire game making me lose progress. I finally got help from other players to fix it. The upgrade in April has some nice features but, the XP rate has been cut drastically making progress super slow now. Its getting boring and frustrating and expensive. The dungeons use more stamina than before and the stamina refills are hard to get. There are 3 small partial refills but a full refill costs gems. So, you cant play as long without having to refill stamina since the dungeons use, in most cases, twice as much stamina as before. That cuts the play time in half. Add to that that the Xp points to grow have also been cut at least in half and it is really hard to stay involved.

I really liked THIS GAME!! Which makes it so hard to rate them so low. The update has all but ruined this game. It takes way tooo many stamina to get shards and runes and the payoff is demoralizing. Leveling up is now expensive as every little thing wants a coin to increase stats. This USED TO BE AN EVERY DAY GAME. With these new modifications I dont like it as much and its now just like the rest. Im going to start looking for a new toy.

Unfortunately the new update became a money grab. This was the best game Ive ever played from App Store because it wasnt a serious time sink. Now its a grind and probably a deletable game

Before the update I loved the game and the balance. Played lots without ever paying. Now its a logistics grind and I hardly ever fight cause so much time is spent dealing stuff in my bags.

This game has everything. It has action! Strategy! And one thing that most games like this dont have is a wide range of features! From upgrading my hero to sending my guardians on quest, I could not ask more from a game!

One of the best game and best graphics listed in the App Store, and even a 55 year ole guy loves play it from time to time, give it a try youll see what I mean and maybe even get hooked on as I have. Good luck and enjoy...

Always something to do, great time killer. MANY complaints about their latest update, which I echo almost all, but will say theyre making efforts to tweak, so getting a little better. Easy 5 star before before update, but still a 4 imo, as long as tweaks continue to make improvements.
